What we store in your browser

Cookies are small pieces of data saved by your browser. Local storage is a separate browser feature used to remember interface choices. The app uses essential first-party storage. Google Analytics also stores cookies to measure visits across the website and app. The Google tag loads automatically.

Storage used by the current application
Name	Purpose	Duration
sessionid	Keeps you signed in. Essential session cookie, inaccessible to JavaScript.	Up to 2 weeks by the current server default, or until logout.
csrftoken	Helps protect form submissions and account changes from forged requests.	Up to 1 year by the current server default; may be renewed.
sidebar-collapsed	Local storage remembering your requested sidebar layout.	Until you clear browser data.
astrologer-cookie-notice	Local storage remembering dismissal of the informational cookie notice.	Until browser data is cleared or the notice version changes.
_ga and _ga_*	Google Analytics cookies used to distinguish visits and maintain session information.	Google’s default is up to 2 years; cookies may be renewed on visits.

Your controls

You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or saving changes. Clearing browser data does not delete information already stored in your account.

The “Got it” button dismisses the informational notice and does not change analytics collection. Browser privacy settings or analytics-blocking tools can limit tracking. Removing cookies does not delete data already sent to Google.
